I need to tanslate this small note for the newspaper in spanish (Puerto Rico). But I really need a human translation because those free tanslating websites dont help at all. When you read it…it does not make sense at all. Here is what I need help with…thank you all.

Okay, steel can be hardened because it contains carbon. Aluminum can’t.
Is there any coatings or surface treatments that I could apply to aluminum to protect it against abrasion, friction and wearing ?
